I'm late to the show but look at this thread where Android 12+ stopped me
from faking root with Shizuku but on Android 9, you can likely fake root.

Your problem appears to me to be the same as my problem, only with a
different program, where you being on an older Android will help a lot.

You "should" be able to see /data/data which is one of the most (if not the
most) protected areas of Android as long as you're below Android 12 (IMHO).

As for seeing files that are not protected, but which are in the system
folders, I've had great results setting up a free WebDAV server on Android
and then mounting the entire Android phone as a drive letter on Windows.

With adb over USB to your PC, you can copy almost everything you need
(especially if you also fake root with Shizuku) including the base.apk.

Remember, Android is unique in that it never deletes the installer apks
(as long as the app is still on your Android phone, the installer is too).

Note that there are two kinds of file managers, as far as I can tell.
   a. Those that show almost everything
   b. Those that do not

You want the good file managers such as MiX, X-plore, ZArchiver, Material
Files, etc. I've tested them all, so that's just a small subset sample.

I wrote a tutorial for using LocalSend if you still want to use it.

Hope this helps, where I apologize for being late to the game to help you.
