You probably did not find these alternative methods, because normally
scanning QR codes *is* a function of the device's camera app.

But because camera apps are normally device-dependent - i.e. they are
made/supplied by the device manufacturer, not by Google - and your
"Umidigi running Android 11" is somewhat 'old', it's camera app has
probably not been updated to scan QR codes to their embedded URL.

BTW, by including "Umidigi running Android 11" in a Google search, you
*will* find several solutions, including using Google Lens. It also
seems that the QR scanning capability might be 'hidden' in less obvious
places on your Umidigi. (FYI, I searched on "how to scan qr code on
   Umidigi Android 11".)
