   (of course, 'new EVs' has turned into 'new cars' generally)   
      
   They want you to stay in their ecosystem where they can get revenue from   
   you, eg for subscriptions and to sell your data to advertisers.   
      
   You can listen to music, but it's on whatever streaming apps they get around   
   to providing - or they can cut deals with.   
      
   A big folder of MP3s does have its advantages...
