I am sure I have made mistakes over time... but when I have I am open about
   it.

I ran it on an older iMac -- even from a Thumb drive it worked well as a media
   machine.

Odd. I do not recall what if anything I had to do to get my wireless mouse to
work. I know it did. I sometimes used it as a remote... though the actual
remote also worked. Modern Macs do not have that, but you can do it over
   Wi-Fi.

Do other BlueTooth devices work? Does it show the mouse as paired? I assume
the mouse is charged (hey, worth checking). Do you know what version of Mouse?
