I realize this post has a little age on it, but, you're absolutely right in
so far as our grids are concerned. Much of it is still from the days of
Edison and westinghouse. We've been patching it for decades when it should
have been overhauled instead. A lot of the EV chargers in this area are fed
from diesel generators. There's only so much amperage on those high
tension wires to go around.
RAMAmegaddon is real. Prices are getting batshit crazy. And it's only going
to get worse.
