If I were a leftist I might have pointed out how the officer, against
training, intentionally placed himself in a position where he would
have plausible justification for shooting. He had already walked around
the car recording and it looks like he drew his gun before she even put
the car in drive with the wheels aimed away from him - she had been
   reversing away from him.

If I were a rightist, I would likely point out that the officer was
indeed limping a little after the 'strike' and her wife was overly
antagonistic which doesn't help with de-escalation.

However, my comment was about how the other countries of the world have
lost trust in the USA because we might at any time stupidly elect some
populist demagogue who ignores our congress and constitution. Democracy
   is a fragile thing.
