One would have to argue that it would be       necessary for the authorities to continue to have access to the video       evidence of a crime to prosecute the offenders, but I can't imagine why       such content would be available to the public. Censorship here is       absolutely necessary. I would go farther and say that anyone broadcasting       to the public, whether through a network or through cable, should also be       severely reprimanded for showing content that goes against the moral code       of a society.              While I am against censorship when it comes to one person speaking to       another, I don't believe that things like nudity and offensive language       should be a part of what the public consumes anymore. We've gone too far       in one direction for there to even be any hope of decency or morality       being the norm in society. The public needs to be served clean content,       regardless of whether it is boring or not, and anyone peddling garbage       like rap or pornography needs to see their business bankrupted. If the       result is that people listen to less music, watch less television and       spend more time outside, so be it.                            --       CrudeSausage       John 14:6       Isaiah 48:16       Pop_OS!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
