   Big picture: Are Macs less reliable? Do they tend to be used for a shorter   
   time? No.   
      
   Macs tend to be used for a longer time. I showed before studies that back this   
   for both small and large businesses.   
      
   So, yes, there are tradeoffs with Macs that give benefits and weaknesses   
   compared to others, but in the big picture you get the benefits PLUS better   
   longevity.   
      
   Does this mean you will never run into this very specific hand-picked issue?   
   You might... but what a bizarre hill to die on.
