I usually just ignore rather than apply a filter because I might want to read
something they've written previously or in the future. I do this when I've
reached a certain point and come to the conclusion that a discussion isn't
actually possible. I'm nearly there with him. I've posted the same content
that supports what I've written about several times now. I've ignored his
shady efforts to infer I wrote/said something I didn't. I've even ignored the
fact he doesn't want to discuss his actual knowledge/experience with pcb level
repair so that I could get a better idea of his actual knowledge of what I've
been discussing vs that of an end user. Who doesn't really know or care what's
under the hood or how it's laid out as long as it works.

It did surprise me to learn that he didn't know that modern Apples haven't
been able to use external media if their internal drive fails for several
years now. He really thought he had a way out, that his wouldn't become a
useless paperweight if/when something happens to the internal drive that
cannot be replaced. He may not have learned much (due to his choice not to do
so) but he did learn that. It's not much progress based on what I've been
reading about him, but, it's a smidge.

I've gotten that impression as well. Especially after reading his latest
replies and continued efforts to deny what I've shared multiple times now. I'm
starting to suspect he's playing games...Anyhow, the information I've shared
covers my position. All one needs to do is read the material and watch the
   videos.
