   at least with i3.  fastfetch also shows 'WM: Mutter (Wayland)' but   
   neofetch only shows i3 for the WM. I don't know why LM doesn't have   
   fastfetch. neofetch hasn't been touched it 5 years.

   You can add it:   
      
   sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zhangsongcui3371/fastfetch   
   sudo apt udate   
   sudo apt install fastfetch   
      
      
   fastfetch on the LM box shows   
      
   WM i3 4.23 (2023-10-29) (X11)   
      
   which is more useful than just WM i3.
