   I updated the LM laptop yesterday. The installation of kernel 6.17.0   
   failed. 'dkms status' shows a broadcom driver that isn't compatible with   
   that kernel. A couple of posts on r/linuxmint suggests people are having   
   problems with other drivers.   
      
   This is the first time I've had a problem with an attempted kernel update.   
   6.14.0 works fine so I'll block 6.17.
