   You can't rely on the headers helping you these days. I use Xnews; it has no   
   Linux native variant as far as I'm aware but I'm using it on MXLInux 23.6.   
   And, my headers don't tell you that. You are in good company though. A   
   poster known as Mike Easter from alt.computer.workshop assumed I was using   
   Windows because of my client. They had trouble comprehending that there's   
   this software called Wine which allows me to use it under Linux. It doesn't   
   work perfectly under this condition, but it works well enough that I can
