The point is that no matter what it is called, both parties seem to be
heading toward their own form of tyranny. I agree. However, Communists
wants absolute, authoritarian control with severe punishment for anyone
who calls them out for their idiotic ideas or decisions. For their part,
the Republicans (or conservatives in general) want absolute respect for
the rules within their borders and even outside. They want to give us the
impression that they respect free speech, privacy and people's choice of
faith even though they want to control speech, limit privacy and push a
compromised form of Christianity. Nevertheless, I would rather have the
latter simply because there is still wiggle room, and a possibility that
whatever freedoms were attacked can be restored. With anything the left
suggests, not only will your freedoms be obliterated, but there is no way
they can ever be restored without many people dying.

We really are choosing the lesser evil.
