   Yabut, his distro did have him running the latest kernel with a driver that   
   might include CUDA support, depending on how much his distro adjusted things.   
      
   Part of me is interested in looking into Arch, but the rest of me remembers   
   when I used to play he-man Linux Guy, and run Fedora with rpmfusion and other   
   extra repos.  Switching to Linux Mint stopped the madness, not to mention got   
   away from Red Hat legal's control of Fedora.   
      
   (I've already told the story about how Fedora was crippling openssl, including   
   removing code from the library.  After enough of that, I jumped ship.)
