We had our disagreements, but they were invariably civil.

There's some merit to those sorts of conversations, and I've seen some
particularly interesting multipath effects on work stuff to not doubt
   certain claims...

...but I also am familiar with human frailties too.

Case in point, this one's on my To-Read list:

"In a blind test, audiophiles couldn't tell the difference between audio
signals sent through copper wire, a banana, or wet mud — 'The mud should
sound perfectly awful, but it doesn't,' notes the experiment creator"

And in seeing that, I know that if my friend hadn't just passed away, I
would have gotten this article from him on a group chat which would have
included the owner of a high end audio company that he had introduced me
to years ago. Instead, I'd contacted him, to make sure that he had
   gotten the word.

A nice Class A system w/ a pair of ET ribbons is now part of his Estate.
