   I used the 12" monitor, maxing out at 640x480, from my 1991 IBM PS/1 until   
   1999. I had a client over for a Windows installation and he told me that I   
   should probably update the thing (he was only the latest person to make   
   fun of it). After that, I decided to upgrade to a 15" Sony Trinitron   
   monitor which was admittedly a lot better.
