   I spent quite a while, 2-3 months IIRC, trying to adapt to Gnome 3 (and   
   to adapt it to me). I am quite adaptable, using all of Windows, macOS,   
   Android and desktop Linux regularly, but still didn’t manage to get used   
   to Gnome 3. So MATE it is.
