I haven't done anything with Gtk in a long time. It needs a really good
editor with tab completion for stuff like gtk_window_set_default_size(). I
understand namespace pollution and so forth but I always had the feeling
'Yes, dammit, I know I'm using gtk. I don't have to type it on every
   line.'

Qt wasn't on the table for proprietary work. It wasn't so much the
licensing cost as much as the Trolls never could figure out exactly what
it was. That eventually trickled down to PyQt and Riverside so I use
   PySide6.
