   Several letters?  Even better, the original LXDE crew didn't like Gtk 3 so   
   went off to develop LXQt. I had a Lubuntu install that used LXQt. LXDE was   
   resurrected from the dead and strangely enough a heavily modified version   
   is used in Raspberry Pi OS so the terminal is LXTerminal.   
      
   Xfce has the panel on top (usually) and LXDE doesn't (usually).
