If you go to their site there are three different       isos (four counting LMDE). For a new user that cements the idea of Linux       Mint with Cinnamon etc.              For the *ubuntus you go to https://kubuntu.org/ or https://lubuntu.me/ for       example and it feels like a separate project. Fedora follows LM with the       spins but all with the Fedora label. Endeavour/Arch makes it apparent that       you're picking a DE during the online install.              I think this really confuses new users when you tell them 'It's just the       DE on the same distribution and you can get most of the DEs on any       distribution.' Does not compute for a Windows or Mac user.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
