   The book was a big thing and spun off seminars. The company I worked for   
   hosted one. Several of the 'excellent' companies are defunct or have went   
   through so many acquisitions their paternity is unknown.   
      
   Earlier, TI's 'matrix management' was the exemplar of how to structure a   
   company. TI is still around but has had its fiascos. The PC product line   
   was sold to Acer.   
      
   Relevant to the current climate, there was the Explorer, a LISP approach   
   to AI.
