   I just now tested it.

   On the Linux side
       echo "Test with upper case" >Test
       echo "test with lower case" >test

   On the windows side, only the all-lower-case side is visible.

   After I do "touch Test", it flips so that only Test is visible.

   Interestingly, this has never come up in my real life, and if
   I ever successfully get my file systems converted to "case
   preserving" the spelling that is created first will prevail,
   but the content matches the latest write access;
   i.e. after the above setup, "cat Test" on the Linux side
   will yield "test with lower case".

   So it appears that Samba makes a decent approximation.
