Could be interesting to explore,       but I'm not impressed by how they not only have GenAI integration but       are also kind of advertising it as the best thing since sliced bread.              If it can be disabled and is opt-in, it's not clearly said in the few       pages I looked at so far (hopefully it's not opt-in or easy to disable,       because otherwise they've lost a massive marketing opportunity       here?). Looking further, it's perhaps hinted by a screenshot that seems       to show a smartphone-style toggle button for "AI" [1], and user       documentation does seem to suggest that it's a plug-in that has to be       installed... so a lost opportunity, then.              UI-wise I see something that looks like a ribbon in screenshots, no idea       if it can be configured to have some different interface, but if not it       might still be good for people who are used to *that* kind of       interface.                     [1] https://static-site.onlyoffice.com/public/images/templates/d       cs/features/en/work@2x.png              --       Nuno Silva              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
