   	Maybe they just want to be the Windows® of Linux.   
   	I encountered Ubuntu trying to help people who had screwed up the   
     install of of Ubuntu that someone from the LUG had done for them.  Not a   
   pleasant time for me though I was in better shape then than more recently.   
   But consider that Ubuntu installs in a screwed up way to my way of   
   thinking.
