   Gartner’s been doing some research on the cost to corporations still stuck   
   on Internet Explorer 6 to move away from it, and the verdict is not good   
   .   
      
   To try to mitigate things, they’re suggesting customers ask Microsoft for   
   special leave to virtualize IE6 under Windows 7, in violation of Microsoft’s   
   licensing agreements.
