XPost: comp.os.linux.advocacy       From: usenet@slated.org              Verily I say unto thee, that JEDIDIAH spake thusly:              > Microsoft did have a RAID-ish feature of some possible interest in WHS       > but for some strange reason they decided they were going to gut it and       > remove it for the next version. Take shotgun, aim at foot, fire.              The weird thing is it was only JBOD, and I really can't see the code for       something that simple being especially difficult to maintain, or even       need to change at /all/ from one version to the next.              But then, this is Microsoft we're talking about. Maintaining the code       for "Hello World" would probably require a whole department of dilberts,       and several million dollars, and they'd still somehow manage to screw it       up.              --       K. | Ancient Chinese Proverb:       http://slated.org | "The road to Hell is paved with       Fedora 8 (Werewolf) on sky | ignorant twits who know nothing       kernel 2.6.31.5, up 13:41 | about GNU/Linux."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
