   Don’t be so sure—that’s only (mostly) true of tier-1 vendors. If you add   
   together HP and Dell’s market share, they only account for about 30% of   
   world PC sales. So you can see that the majority of the world’s PCs do not   
   come from tier-1 vendors. In some countries, Microsoft claims a “piracy”   
   rate as high as 90%.   
      
   Don’t judge things simply by what’s on show at your local first-world   
   superstore.
