   Were you around in the Atari 8-bit days?  At club meetings, I watched in   
   amusement as people copied disk after disk of software, defeating   
   copy-protection mechanisms in some cases.  What made me laugh at this crime?   
   In many cases, guys were copying stuff they would *never* use, just so they   
   could claim they had the most software in their collection.   
      
   The only reason there are more pirates in the Windows camp these days is   
   simply that there are more Windows users these days.   
      
   Of course, Linux users are less prone to copyright infringement, simply   
   because 99% of the stuff they need is simply a checkbox-tick away.
