    Well. I don't use much of Gimp's potential most days. I would much rather   
   use a simpler "smaller" tool with fewer features. However, one thing that   
   Gimp seems to have over any such tool is a more technically accurate redeye   
   tool that no "consumer grade" image editor/manager can match.   
      
    A "lite ui" for gimp could be very handy.
