   Don't forget iPod Touch. iPad + iPod Touch actually make a pretty big   
   difference.   
      
   But even comparing iOS to Android in terms of Android device sales vs.   
   iOS device sales (avoiding the category error) isn't all that   
   meaningful. Apple and Google are pursuing almost entirely different   
   business models, to such an extent that it's mostly nonsense to try to   
   declare a 'winner' between the two. For Google, Android is a tool to   
   sell ads. For Apple, iOS is a tool to sell devices. Each approach can be   
   successful on its own terms. This isn't the zero-sum game a lot of   
   analysis try to make it out to be.
