   Personal opinion is Microsoft is too late this time.   
      
   They are talking about 2013 I believe and correct me if I am wrong.   
   By then, tablets, assuming they catch on, will be everywhere and it   
   will be the same scenario as the Windows phone.   
   Microsoft used to carry a lot of clout in the industry and companies   
   and people would wait for their products.   
   That is no longer true.   
   People want solutions NOW and the company first with a good product   
   will win.   
      
      
   Yes, they did clobber Linux in the netbook market but they weren't   
   that far behind.   
   The year 2013 is a lifetime in time when it comes to computers.   
      
   The iPad is pretty neat and going to be difficult to clone but price   
   might be the determining factor for the consumer so who knows.
