Scared? What's wrong with having more choice? Isn't that what the       > hardcore Linux advocates are always saying - "Choice is good".              Choice is good but I where I might choose a Nokia Android 'phone, I       would never choose a Nokia WP7 unit.              I could see Nokia's troubles coming for a long time. As soon as touch       screen 'phones started to become popular, they should have been       developing a serious alternative to Android and iOS. Instead, they gave       Symbian a facelift when it should have been retired and committed enough       resources to Maemo for it to appeal to techies but not enough for it to       have widespread appeal. We're at the stage now where technological       superiority of a platform has been eclipsed by the number of       applications that are available and Nokia have been a long way behind       for quite some time.              It's a shame. My Nokia N900 is the best 'phone I have ever had and we       are unlikely to see anything like that again.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
