   Except of course, that it doesn't slow down to a crawl when you have the   
   proper amount of RAM installed if you are going to a virtual machine   
   often.   
      
   And on the current iMacs with 4Gb of RAM, it doesn't slow to a crawl,   
   but it does slow down a bit.   
      
   More a function of RAM vs speed of the machine.

   Sounds like your machine needs more RAM for the tasks you set it to.

   Maybe, but not a given.  Depends on the tasks you desire to perform.
