   Only they don’t “run the same OS and the same apps”, do they? They may   
   have started out sharing a common code base, but that diverged long ago.   
      
   Can you run macOS apps on your Ipad or Iphone? No. The latter platforms   
   are tightly controlled through Apple’s App Store, the former is not.
