   True statement.   
   The older Ford SYNC systems which used IoT were horribly buggy.   
   I used to travel a lot back then and the rental cars had those systems   
   in them and it was an awful experience.   
   Fortunately at that time it was used only for entertainment and not   
   controls and gauges and such.
