   Yes, I quite like XFCE, it's nice and quiet.  I've had several flavours   
   of Linux on my Macs at various times, although nothing currently.   
   I've considered Mint for my next Linux, I may well go that way.   
      
   Meanwhile, now that Apple has deprecated AFP I'm somewhat   
   involved in migrating my Time Machine backups setup to SMB.   
   This is not trivial so VM games can wait.
