I installed sway on the Fedora box for kicks. Logging out and back in sway
is jumping into the deep end. $mod, which is the Windows key be default,
and brings up a terminal, 'foot' by default. It's good to have
another working computer to figure out the next step. The wifi connection
took some messing around. Starting Brave requires 'flatpak run
   com.brave.Browser'.

It's tiled by default, and keyboard driven. The default config file isn't
too far off and reading it gives you the key bindings. Setting the mouse
   to left handed isn't intuitive.

I'd have to change my work flow and use a lot more virtual desktops but it
might work. It works with Wayland and is lightweight. Hyprland is a
compositing WM so it can do all the weird stuff I don't like in the first
place. It can use the i3 config files from an X11 system.

I wouldn't turn a Linux newbie loose with it. There is a text menu of
sorts and search if you know what the app is called. It works well enough
   except for the flatpak stuff.
