   Came across this Windows tool called ExplorerPatcher, and the problems   
   it causes for users when antivirus flags it as malware. See, for   
   example, the discussion here   
   . Looks like   
   Microsoft’s Windows Defender is not a current source of problems, but   
   another antivirus program, SentinelOne, needs to have exceptions   
   manually added to it.   
      
   What happens when a tool which is supposed to make life easier for   
   you, makes it harder instead?   
      
   On top of which, you have to be careful when updating your system: for   
   best results, you have to uninstall ExplorerPatcher before the update,   
   and reinstall it afterwards.   
      
   This is why they say, Windows is a great OS -- if your time is worth   
   nothing.
