That is the point. They can have a VM and let people use Linux       itself instead of recreating it. Daft to try!              > Why can’t they come up with       > something better?              What do you think is better at emulating Linux than Linux?              > Why do you think they have to offer something       > Linux-compatible at all?              Why not? If there is a need for it then it is good. Why are you against open       source being used?       >       > Is the market demanding that, do you think?              Some small number want it. Sure. So?              Just as some small number of people prefer desktop Linux. Not many, but great       that it exists.              Are you against that, too?       >       >>> The question is, what percentage do they feel the need to attract       >>> to their platforms, that they have no choice about doing this?       >>       >> What percent of macOS / Win users do you think use desktop Linux?       >>       >> You keep dodging this and trying to change the topic. Just as you can run Windows on macOS. I do it with Parallels.       That and Linux. I see it as a good thing. No idea why you see it as bad.              --       It's impossible for someone who is at war with themselves to be at peace with       you.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
