   It is definitely a better choice, but games run better on Linux for the   
   time being. What I find sad about Linux is that even the simplest things   
   like a weather widget is a pain in the ass. In KDE, it mostly works fine   
   but requires a tiny amount of configuration. In Cinnamon, have fun   
   configuring the thing for your city. It can be done, but the process is   
   a lot more annoying than in Windows or MacOS which simply determines   
   your location and sets it into the weather application automatically.   
      
   There is no doubt that the common desktop environments are less bloated   
   than Windows and MacOS though. However, there is also no doubt that a   
   typical Mercedes or Infiniti is a lot less bloated than a Lada. Linux is   
   a Lada. You can tweak it to your heart's content, but it is still a Lada.
