   I hate that too. I would love to only hold onto the weather and discard   
   everything else. That part of the operating system knows me too well and   
   always have the kind of headlines that I'm very likely to click on. If   
   anything, it's part of why I return to Linux so often.

   What bothers me most about Windows 11 is the fact that if I want to   
   install it, it is absolutely intolerable to do so unless I prepare the   
   USB drive with Rufus and disable just about everything Windows forces on   
   me, including the online account. I can imagine how much longer   
   Microsoft will allow me to bypass their garbage.
