   Good for you and for your brother.   
      
   The fact remains that if you want to run macOS, which I regard as a   
   superior OS, you need Apple kit to do that.  If macOS is /not/ superior,   
   why else would you want to run it?  If you're content with what Linux   
   and mainstream hardware gives you, good for you; stick with it and   
   stop griping about the benefits that we Apple users enjoy.   
      
   When my 2011 iMac 27" can no longer run macOS, I'll probably put   
   some flavour of Linux on it and keep it running for a few more years.   
   It's a win-win!  (not win-doze...)
