   ESXi run on the metal. You can run your Linux and VMS on ESXi.   
      
   OR you can install Workstation Pro on Linux and run VMS on   
   Workstation Pro.   
      
   It sounds very much like it is Workstation Pro you want   
   and not ESXi.
