Rust would be interesting for VMS device       drivers, but I don't think that is much of a market.              In end-user applications or platform products supporting       end-user applications, then there are lots of languages       that are more important than Rust. And end-user applications       and platform products supporting end-user applications is what       will help support the future of VMS.
