   Rdb on Itanium is a dead end. Hardware will eventually fail due to age.   
   There are no Itanium emulators.   
      
   So either they migrate to Rdb on x86-64 or they migrate to   
   another database.   
      
   Rdb on Alpha has a better chance due to the existence of   
   Alpha emulators.
