   Anything from Microsoft over the last 25 years.   
      
   Anything from Intel. x86 is a crap, power hungry architecture that   
   should have been consigned to history. Intel just got very very lucky   
   and we have all suffered since. For example, Motorola would have been   
   a far better starting point.
