   But the basic DESCRIP.MMS of:   
      
   mylib = some_root:[lib]   
   ...   
      link test + $(mylib)a/lib + $(mylib)b/lib + $(mylib)c/lib   
      
   seems just equivalent of the DCL:   
      
   $ mylib = "some_root:[lib]"   
   ...   
   $ link test + 'mylib'a/lib + 'mylib'b/lib + 'mylib'c/lib
