   I'm not sure I agree with this.  Modern Z is extremely   
   impressive.   
      
   Telum II has 8 cores per chip with 36 MiB of L2 cache per core,   
   clock rates max out at 5.5 GHz, it has has an on-chip DPU and   
   32-core AI accelerator, and is implemented on Samsung's 5nm   
   process.   
      
   OTOH, x86 and ARM core counts per socket appear to be higher.   
   But I bet IBM gives them a run for their money with this thing.
