   Don’t know what you mean by “success”. Open-source projects live or die,   
   not by the sheer number of users they can attract, but by the level of   
   contributions from an active community.   
      
   In other words, as long as projects continue to attract contributors, they   
   are not (yet) in danger of fading out.
