   Bloody &*&^* stupid JNI. :-( As someone who writes some programs for   
   personal use on Android, containing a mixture of Java and C code,   
   I bloody well _hate_ that interface. :-(   
      
   I believe I may have mentioned this once or twice before. :-)   
      
   BTW, Google's latest stupidity is that they are going to stop you   
   from being able to sideload even your own Android applications unless   
   you register as a developer with Google. The whole point of Android   
   is that it is supposed to be an open environment.
